We have posted this on a Roush site and received some great feedback. We would appreciate anyone who is experiencing the same issues with a 2010 Mustang to chime in.

Thanks

Love at first drive. Our 427R with the big everything is just a blast to drive doing 30 MPH or 300.
Handling, brakes, that awesome exhaust and that power, thank you Mr Roush.
Than it happened.....
Engine taping at 400 miles, stripe bubbled (no big deal), rust on flange in engine compartment.
Muffler started banging against the rear fascia and finally melted into fascia. More engine taping.
White spots appeared in the rear glass visible in both the black out portion and the clear section.
More engine taping, more rust all along the drainage channel in the trunk and on the corner of the trunk lid.
More engine taping, more rust between the rear glass and the support flange.
As we watch the problems grow we watch our enthusiasm diminish.
Speaking to other Roushers and Stangers at the local events they are in disbelief.

The car is three months old with less than 2500 miles on it!

Has anyone had these problems or similar? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks

sucks man, sorry to hear. get ready for all the replies about how rust is normal and wont be a big deal...why are you worried about it etc.

We already got a taste of the dealers dancing machine.

Too bad for Ford. In today's economy, customer support and service is becoming more important than ever. Subaru sales took off for this reason alone and it make sense. To get the repeat biz you need to keep the customer satisfied. Its true in every biz. Add in the word of mouth factor.........

It is our hope that Ford steps up and does the right thing. If not, I love you honey but things are not working out.

Like an ex, Ford will never see us again.

-what flange?
-why wasn't the (roush) muffler problem addressed when it started banging?
-427r has a blower strapped on it thats warrantied by roush and or ford
-the glass thing is very vague

this is allllllllll warranty work.

What part of the country are you in? The exhaust/facia problem is literally a five minute adjustment that you could have done yourself with even the most basic hand tools long before it ever melted the facia. It's not clear what kind of engine "taping" you're talking about. What does it sound like - when does it happen (idle, under load, etc)?
