Hey whats up guys, I know that this has been answered non-stop, but I would really like a honest opinon of what you guys think.

I have a 05 GT, and I would like to know is do you think my car is capable of reaching 12s or pretty close to that or what would it be capable of as this point?

Mods: CAI w/ 93 Tune, Steeda UDP,Hurst Short Throw, FRPP 4.10 Gears, NT555 Nittos, J&M LCAs, Ford Racing STB, ,Flowmaster Axle-Backs

I haven't taken to the track as of yet (1/8 mile) but I like to say that I'am a relatively decent driver.

I been thinking of getting CMCV plates, and LT headers & mid-pipe,so would that benefit me even with the slight mods I have so far?

Any inputs or advice would be greatly appreciated :)

What kind of times are you running now?

Nevermind! I just re-read your post and you havn't had it to the track sorry....

EDIT:

You can see by my old list of mods we are similar, and I ran low 13's. With the addition of the second list of I expect to hit 12.7 or better. I will find out Aug 21 at mason Dixon MD

Which track is near you?

You live in Woodbridge?, so do I man, but I don't think I ever seen your car around, at least I don't think so, but My GT has had work done with Excessive Motorsports in the past :)

Closest track to me, that would be Old Dominion & Summer Duck (1/8 mile) but I'm sure you already know that.

I would like to Go to MIR or Mason Dixon, but the trip there for Test and tune would be a little long from here I guess, so I would have to plan that out B4 hand.

So do you think that right now with the current mods I mention that car is capable of a low 13, maybe even get it into the high 12 second range?

ive got less mods than that and went 13.1 spinning in hot weather. ive got 93 bama race tune, lca's, gt500 throttle body and jlt intake and 4.10 gears. i know mine will go high 12's on a prepped track in some cooler weather. i was spinning bad on drag radials.

:nice: That's Great, and I'm still kinda debating weather to get CMCV plates in addition to when I do a LT headers / mid-pipe setup.

For the most part, If I can make my car a solid 12 second car and have the nice clean aggressive sound to go with it, I would be happy. :)

Thing is thought I don't know what LT/ midpipe exhaust setup to go with, I mean I really like my flowmasters A/Bs as far as the tone sound, but its just a little too quiet for me :(

I was thinking of going with the either a Mac or Borla with whatever LT/ setup goes well with it, but I'm not sure.

Thanks Sparta, I think I will do just that and order one this week, if I could get little more power out of it right now that would be great. and Yeah my car is going to be an all N/A car

My only Issue is getting my car tuned for the cmcv plates, I mean I have a C&L Diablosport Tuner for my car, but Doesn't Brenspeed & Bamachips write and email tunes for SCT only or could they do both??

If they have the software for the Diablosport then it wont be a problem.
