I hope I got the pictures attached correctly. Anyway, I was here awhile back asking for advice on a 2001 Cobra vs 2003 Mach 1. The concensus of the forum gave the edge to the Mach 1. However, I decided it was a little more than I wanted to spend. So I went with the 2001 Cobra. Guys, I LOVE this car. It is the first muscle car I have ever owned and I just can't get over how nice this car is. I just wanted to say thanks again to everyone here who offered advice when I was making the decision!!! The car has 68,000 miles and is in very good shape on the interior. The paint has a lot of chips but still looks great from a distance.

Here is a list of the mods

I don't even know what most of them mean (truly a Mustang virgin). These are from the original ebay listing.
Mods include:

bbk long tubes

bbk off road h-pipe

jba 3'' stainless steal catback

march underdrive pulleys

cold air intake

4:10 gears

mgw short throw shifter

Suspension mods include:

h&r race lowering springs (lowerd 1 1/4 inch)

caster chamber plates

I pulled the IRS out and replaced all the bushings with delrin racing bushings to really tighten up the rear end

adjustable toe link bars in the rear also.

Appearence mods include:

Smoked headlights with clear turning signal lines

tinted rear tail lights

Mach 1 chin spoiler

tinted windows

and it is lowered.

---The only plans I have for it currently is buying some new tires as soon as I can afford em. The back tires have very little tread left and one of the front tires has a sidewall bubble.

Super nice Cobra man... the previous owner did some very important/beneficial mods that you won't have to empty your pockets for. Easily a couple of thousand in parts already on there.

Seems to me Mach 1's are nothing more then a 99/01 Cobra with a Bullitt interior and a Shaker hood. Might ought to get that bubbled tire taken care of before it separates on you too. Don't want to tear up any of that pretty sheet metal now do you. :D

Yea Lars. Tires are #1 on my to do list after paying the taxes, title and insurance. Already told my kids that they can't ride in it until we get new shoes. They were bummed. They dig that Mach sound system!
