Hey guys for you who have the Simco gauges or anyone who knows about them I am just wondering what makes them what they are. I know they replace your cluster and come with everything but other than that anything special that you couldn't find in another setup? And overlays vs these simcos?

simco makes a GREAT product! they are the ones that made the autometer lunar cluster i have in my car and i couldnt be happier with it!

Agreed. Its completely plug and play. The autometer cluster is just awesome, they just dont make it anymore :(

The autometer cluster I would have bought anyday. Shame they dont make it anymore. The regular simco cluster I just dont like. I dont care for the font style, the redline, the pony logo...I just dont like the look. So I went with the speedhut overlays. Far more involved install, but its half the price and you can customize them a great deal. I havent heard of anyone unhappy with either the simco cluster OR the speedhuts. Hell, there are ALOT of 03-04 cobra guys putting the speedhut overlays over their factory gauges. To me that says something.

I'm very pleased with my Simco cluster.

I did the white overlays 1st, and it was meeeeh. It was better than stock I thought, then there was that mod you cluster for $8 bucks light trick that everyone was doing, and I thought it made it look awful after I did it.

So that is when I jumped on Simco cluster and I think they are sweet.
I would recommend.

the only thing I dont like is that the Simco logo is on it 4 times. in case you miss the first 3.

So after seeing pictures of the gauges I guess you lose the the check engine light and the low fuel... Is that right or am I just not seeing them?

Some of the Simco's products are just the overlay with pointers but some of them offer the bezel and lens..........and some are plug-n modules which are the complete unit minus the circuit board that you'll have to plug into the back of them.......pretty cool.
