Sold my 90 gt about a month ago. Got this today. 2011, 6m with 373's. Got tired of waiting for 2012 order.

congratulations she is very pretty. Do you have any plans for upgrades.:nice:

End of next week will be ordering catback (unsure what brand as of now) CAI and a tuner (probably from American Muscle.)

Before taxes and such the price was $24711. It is new, in case you were wondering.

My wife talked me into ordering a grabber blue 12 but, it was taking so long. I originally wanted kona blue anyway, so I made out with this deal.

Very nice and to go from an MSRP of $34,090 to $24711,is about the best deal i've ever seen,i don't even see V6's going for that.

Dude, wicked steal. I only managed to get my '10 at invoice at this time last year when the 5.0s were looming in the near future. What options does she have? IMO you can save a few hundred bucks and have your local muffler shop weld in a pair of Magnaflow Magnapaks. I did it, cost $300, and sounds awesome. The factory pipes are actually pretty nice, and unless you're going to go crazy FI I really don't see how spending the extra cash to have different axle-back pipes makes a difference. The welded in Magnaflows, if done right, look factory, sound awesome, and outflow the factory choke boxes. Just a thought...

Edit- second thought: spend the saved money on a nice chin spoiler from CDC. These cars look awesome with one, definitely a + in curb appeal.

Thanks for the :nice: guys.

Its not a premium, so i didnt get as good of deal as it sounds. I still think i got a great deal though for a base GT. The only option it has, fortunately the only option i wanted, is 3.73 gears.

Couldnt wait so I just ordered hushpower catback, steeda cai and tuner from American muscle.

Now for the Pennsylvania weather to break so I can get it to the track.

Nice. I have the premium, the creature comforts are way beyond anything I've had in a Mustang before. I did drive a 2010 grabber blue GT base package with 3.73s in LA last year, and even with the cloth seats and factory sound it was a really nice car, way beyond my '04 GT at the time. The gears really made it feel gutsy and I can imagine what that is like with the new 5.0. I was in negotiation to buy it but they just wouldn't give me the deal I wanted so I waited about 3 months till I found my current car in NorCal. The base package GT the last few years is almost like the old 87-93 LX 5.0 cars. All go without lots of the frills, something guys loved to turn into a lean mean street machine. My first Mustang: 87 LX 5.0 :D . I saw more of those base GTs with the 3.73 upgrade at several dealerships than I did premium GTs with the gears. It seems the cars with all the creature comforts were not as interested in going fast. It's funny, but compared to all my other Mustangs (87LX bolt-ons, 88GT bolt-ons, 87GT H/C/I + bolt ons, 04GT bolt-ons, suspension), this one already feels like a beast. I do wish I had the 3.73s though. There is a shop in town that will do a complete gear swap for $300 with new FRPP gears, and I just might look into it by the end of the summer.
