All-Season Tires

Good choice. Wish they would've come in the sizes I needed for my SS. Believe it or not you will have to deal with snow in Atlanta, just not nearly as much or as often as up in the Hudson valley. Atlanta usually gets more than I do here in Greenboro, NC.:( Good luck with the relo to Hotlanta :nice:

Got my nittos mounted over the weekend. They stick to the road like glue!!! They feel like their grip increases the more you turn into a curve. its a strange sensation

Night and day over what I had before (Cooper ZPTs). Sure its comparing apples to oranges but i can still comment on the grip difference! i think part of the problem was that the rubber on the old tires hardened from them being so old. even if that werent the case, these are much better tires in terms of grip.

definitely happy with the purchase! the one thing i do NOT like about the new tires is the amount of rocks and pebbles they kick up on the car.

That's just your car tearing up the pavement :rlaugh: Glad you like the Nitto's though. I know what tires I will be getting for a DD performance car (unless I can afford some goodyear f1's or along those lines).

i know you made your purchase but this is a warning to everyone else

whatever you do DO NOT BUY THE GENERAL ALTIMAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they are the ****tiest tires i have ever seen. they cup badly even when rotated properly and the treadlife is crap at best. trust me on this, we have NEVER had a happy customer on the Alitmax tires!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean about the grip. It's that the Nittos are just that much better. After I lowered my car and put the new tires on (Nittos), I've gone and played around in the twisties a couple of times. To be honest, I had no idea it would turn like that. It's to the point where it will scare me a little.

And my tires picked up little rocks like that for a couple weeks, but it eventually went away.

I recently put on Falken Ziex ZE-512's. They ended up being very reasonably priced (I think $90 or $95 each). I am real happy with them so far.

I got my tires really quickly, and it was nice not having to pay for shipping. Not to mention the tires look amazing.

Their facebook page is actually pretty helpful. I know they have some kind of deal going now too...some Fan of the Week Contest.
