If it's pulling to the left, you might have a stuck caliper up front.

I'm running an 94-95 Sn95 booster in my car. Wasn't too big of a deal to install. Like i said before, i tried the stock booster and it just wasn't gonna work.

I could see where cutting down the studs a little would do the trick.
I never thought of that.

You will still have to elongate one of the holes in the firewall, because of a difference in the bolt pattern from the fox booster to the sn95 booster. I believe it was the bottom hole on the drivers side that's like 1/2 difference in the bolt location.

Just don't cut too much, or you won't be able to put the nuts on. I think I cut less than 1/2"

Also, make sure you tap the threads, or put the nut pn first and back it off after the cut. Sucks to put it in and find you can't thread the nut on....ask me how I know. :(

Hey guys, I dont mean to hijack this thread but I have one question about the swap. What did you do for the E-brake cables??? I am doing the whole swap right now and I am almost to the point of finishing up and the cables are the last thing I will have to do.

Order them from MM and get ripped off!Or go to the junk yard or find someone parting out a S/N car.

Latemodel Restoration is where I got mine. You could go to a junk yard and try to find a pair, but IMO your better of going with new ones.

Here's the cables that run to the rear caliper.
1987-92 Mustang Rear Parking Brake Cable for Rear Disc Brakes at LRS - Same Day Shipping!

You will also need this cable to go from the acutal hadle to the two cables.
1987-93 Mustang Front Parking Brake Cable for M-2300-K Kit, M-2810-A at LRS - Same Day Shipping!

You will also need to modify the parking brake handles return spring to diable it. I know there is threads on this topic here...just need to do a search.

Junkyard SN95 cables won't work on 87-92's. There is a bracket welded in the trans tunnel that the 1993 mustangs have. So you'd need to spot weld this to make Sn95 cables work.

Yeah I'm not sure if the sn95 cables out of a junkyard would work. Good point.

I didn't want to fight with some half ceised up junkyard cables...that's why I bought new ones.

If enough internet searching is done, You can find just about anything you need to know about this conversion without buying the M2300K kit, and do it for a third of the cost.:nice:

Just trying to share some "been there, done that" tribal knowledge. The booster is really key, I know know know KNOW a lot of guys would rather pull their hair out but it makes a difference. Installing the booster with an sn95 brake swap is like putting in the pedal assembly when doing a 5-spd conversion. Everyone hates that part, but the end result will make them forget they even did it.

You gotta understand that drum brakes are very easy to operate. That's why a lot of the old manual brake setups were 4-wheel manual drum. Takes very little fluid and effort to operate compared to disks. The fox has two disks and two drums, and the booster is really for the disk brakes. When you double the amount of calipers you now need to push out (6 instead of 2), you need more assist.....by means of the booster.

All of the factory 4-wheel disk options for the mustang use a larger booster. I've been there with trying tonavoid swapping it in and "thought" incould manage with the fox booster but in the end, I said it was safer to upgrade.

I'll get off my soapbox now since I'm preaching to nobody, but what I'm trying to say is ford did the homework for us putting the complete package for great brakes on maybe a million+ cars since 1994...so why not use the system complete like it was designed?
