So I was browsing a local mustang site and ran across this car it's a 90GT convertible, since my other 90 is currently in torn apart "project status" I wanted something to drive for the next couple months until winter hits and this way I can go crazy with the Hatch and use this as my daily driver in the summer. I bought it as a roller and am throwing my freshened up motor from the hatch in it hopefully this week sometime. The Car needs paint but I'll probably do it in the fall. the car has lowering springs, subframes and 5 lug conversion, probably going to throw my sn-95 spindles and Chrome 18x9/10 Saleens on it and just drive the thing here's a few pics. from the day I bought it. best thing was it was $800

no pics of the interior but that is a killer find for 800! i really like those rims on a fox, if i were to do the five lug swap those would be it.

That's the kind of deal I'm looking for, for my kids. I found a polished turd recently (brand new paint over a nightmare). It was an 85 with a destroyed interior and oil that smelled like straight gas. He was asking $8k for it. :rlaugh:

The car originally i'm assuming had white leather and white interior panels there was poor dye job because I can see some white coming through easy fix though, the interior is a mish-mash of colors, gray seats, white leather rear seat, black dash/console, black door panels with white leather, red seat belts lol. I am on the look out for some black seatbelts but in the mean time they will have to stay I vaccumed and cleaned the interior put my black gt seats in it and changed up the door panels I think it came out pretty good. I think eventually I'll replace the rear seat with a tweed one but for now I'm just going to throw a blanket it on it or something

The black is definitely an improvement!! But be wary of black interiors on convertibles! One sunny day you'll see why they put an ALL WHITE set up in there :)

We sell just the rear seats if you need to just replace that rear, give us a call for a part number or hit up any of our Authorized Dealers!

Nice pic k up for $800 and the top looks in good shape.

Any known issues so far and how is the trans?

K

no known issues so far except for the poor dye job on the interior. The motor/tranny are coming out of my 90GT hatch and that had an AOD that was in great shape, I have a complete t5 swap setup if need be as well.
