98 Drivers Window Problems

Just replaced the hinges on my drivers side door and now the window (all the way up) hits the top of the (not sure what to call it) window frame? With the window down the door lines line up perfectly and the door shuts almost like new. Before I bought the car the drivers side window was replaced by the dealer.

Im wondering if with the old crap hinges, when they replaced it they miss aligned it. Any help would be appreciated.

Take your inner door panel off and make sure that your window is fully seated in the clips on the regulator.

Windows 98 is outdated and I would suggest upgrading.

The stops that stop the window from going up to far have become unglued simple just pull the window out reglue it, i believe 3m makes a window glue or something like that

They are inside the door panel at the very bottom left hand corner of the window take the panel off and move the window up and down and you will see what im talking about the stops will hit a piece bolted to the door and if theyre like mine they will move a little when they hit causing the window to go up too far
