1999 Supercharged Saleen Mustang #260 with 89,221 miles. This car had a rebuilt engine installed less than 500 miles ago and was professionally tuned by Travis Franklin at Gearheads in Arlington. With the stock pulley the car made a respectable 307 rwhp and 387 foot lbs of torque. Other new parts include Bassani catted x-pipe, Magnaflow cat back, short throw shifter with a custom knob, K&N air filter, Kenne Bell Boost-a-Pump, intercooler pump and other random bits I can't recall at the moment. The tires have great tread remaining. All lights, gauges and switches work and the car doesn't leak any fluids. The coolant warning light is on but I'm certain it's just an issue with a sensor. The coolant levels and temperature are spot on. This Saleen has a clean, clear title in my possession. It just passed the Texas state inspection a couple weeks ago.

The interior of the car is in above average condition. No weird smells or stains. The leather seats are in exceptional condition for the age of the car. A few things to note -- the hook that hold the driver's side floor mat is MIA as is the plastic cover for the lever that allows access to the back seat from the driver's side. It still works but no cover on the metal lever. It looks like some of the plastic pieces in the car were painted silver at one time then painted black. It doesn't look terrible but I had planned to go to a junkyard and pick up replacement pieces but never got around to it.

The car looks great from 10 feet away. As you get closer, some of the flaws become apparent. There are a few dings and scratches that have been poorly touched up. It also appears the car has been repainted at some point and if you're looking for a show car, it's time to have it done again. If you're looking for a track car or daily driver it's good to go. The car only has one original wheel remaining and it's got some curb rash. Two of the wheels are replica Saleen wheels and I'm not sure what the other one is. I didn't notice it was different for weeks. I have another replica Saleen wheel that goes with the purchase. I believe this car was in an accident at some point in it's life but the radiator support is straight as are the inner fender aprons.

It's time to change the brake pads as they squeak on occasion and the steering is a little vague. Not sure if the steering box needs to be adjusted or replaced or if it's just a bushing. When cold, there is a hint of resistance shifting into second gear. When the car is warm it works properly.

I've owned the car for a couple years and poured a ton of cash into it and have only driven it a few hundred miles. Mechanically, it's good to go. Now it just needs someone to enjoy it the way it is or take on some of the aesthetic issues to turn this car back into a show piece. I'm selling to fund the restoration of a 1965 Mustang coupe. I've described this car as accurately as I can. I'm not a body guy or a mechanic so I encourage you to inspect this car in person. This car comes with one ignition key, one door key, key fob and a full tank of premium gas. I'm asking $12,500 or best offer. I think it's priced fairly according to condition and the car's history. I'll consider trades. Car is located in Fort Worth, TX.
