If you are still pondering the k-member, I wish I had swapped mine years ago. Aside from the weight savings, I now have a TON of room to work now, and it looks much cleaner....plus I can adjust the front ride height in about 3 minutes with a jack and an allen wrench. One of the best upgrades I have done.
I supported the engine in the bay with a chain going over a bar spanning the shock towers. The heads were off, making it much easier. The swap went smooth. Much easier than I was expecting.
