I didn't get a whole lot accomplished tonight but I think and hope I got the dist box fixed enough to not cause issues down the road.

I literally hammered it back together. Hahaha. My prelim test says everything works so we will see.

That is sexy and it knows it, but I'll stick to my manual, it gives me something to do other then to try and keep the car on the road

Mine will be a full manual-auto car.:) Manual valve body, manual torque converter lock up and of course manual over drive activation. Just as well be a 3 pedal car at this point. Lots to do and pay attention too while driving or it'll burn up a trans in a hurry (if you forget to lock the converter when cruising in 3/4 gears).

I'm excited. And still waiting on the cams. :(

Got the new vacuum block installed to clean up all of the vac/boost references needed. Also got the drive shaft loop installed.

Cams are being ground today and should ship Monday.

Trans will be ready by next Friday and I have to call monks Monday for a start up tune.

I'm hoping to stab this pig next Saturday and fire it up. If that goes well we will schedule a dyno day for a couple of weeks out.

More parts updates:

Just ordered hardened 28 spline axles, moser stud kit, new frpp outer wheel bearings/seals, drake main support cover, and RP fluid/frpp friction modifier and one of those fancy gaskets vs using silicone.

I need to call Monks at some point today for the start up and I'm waiting on the tracking number on the cams. Soon my friends, soon. :p
