Nice find and looks clean! I hope you don't find any hidden issues. I picked up a red t-top king last year and it had MANY covered up hack job "fixes" not visible during inspection. Hoping to have mine on road worthy soon. Good luck with your plans on getting her on the road.

There are several Facebook pages dedicated to the II's as well as one specifically for the Kings. Lot of knowledgeable people to pick their brains. Also MustangII.net is and awesome resource (when it's running)

thanks stadems3 it runs and drives great.i havent found any big issues with it other than the ac compressor and bracket were removed but everything else is there so should be a easy enough fix.

My King came with Drag lites, took them off, pain to clean and they made cracking noises while turning slow. Apparently a known issue from Google searching. They are on my Ghia for now, I put Ansen Sprints on the King and drilled/tapped them for the King Cobra center caps.
