So for 3 weeks I have been drooling over the Ford Performance Suspension Kit with the pre-mounted springs in struts ....Watched every video on install and targeted June for purchase...then ..the fine print...
NOT FOR CONVERTIBLE ...great..i am the step-child

I did find that Ford makes one for the convertible but to me, its a 3/4 kit (no panhard bar, no pre-mounted front springs...) Lower price but it was just disappointing ...

This is the convertible kit (hard to find)

Sparta , still shaking my head. I did my research. The only difference I can see (besides the GT500 upper strut mount - no big deal to buy them separate) is the sway bar models
Sway Bars M-5490-A for the coupe
Sway Bars M-5490-D for the convertible

So I looked them up (good luck getting details)

WHAT AM I MISSING ? The only thing I can think of --sway bar width because all other kit part numbers match ..any ideas ?

I actually got an answer from LMR. They didn't comment on the A vs D on the sway bars but said the SPRINGS are different (not P or K ) because the convertible is heavier and would sit lower with the Coupe kit. Makes sense but I checked and convertible is only 130 pounds heavier...Oh well...Eibach...LOL
