and....my mechanic said something about "re-adjusting itself"...the clutch....what's that mean?

he's talking about the self adjjusting stock pawl on the clutch pedal. the stock one is plastic with teeth and you pull up on the clutch pedal with the top of your foot to adjust the clutch. Once you go aftermarket with a new cable and quadrant, you should use a firewall adjuster instead
