90 Lx 5.0 Rebuild

Again, try rotating the maf 90 degrees. Also, like karthief says, ecu may need clearing. After that it may need a little time to learn the new injector setup before things work like they should.

Ok, lets get a couple things cleared up
If you have a cai with a filter on it your good.
Don't put a filter in or on the maf.
You may have to turn the maf body, if your maf sensor is on top, thats the 12 oclock position, move the maf body so the sensor it at the 3 oclock position, that will change where to sensor is in relation to the air flow, this may help like mike says.
Don't worry about the screen that is in the stock maf body, you likely do not need it in an aftermarket maf
And yes, you need to clear the computer after upgrades, disconnect the negative battery cable and turn the headlights on for several minutes, this discharges the diodes, turn the headlights off reconnect the cable, start the car letting it run at idle for a few, it may hunt around for a couple minutes, take it for a drive running in some stop and go traffic and some time at steady speed like 50 mph or more for a time then check for codes.

Well resetting the ECU made the car run a lot smoother. Took it for a cruise not stomping on it for a while. On way back home tried out the higher RPM and it still sputters. It wants to figure it out but it's almost like when you stomp on it, its sputters then figures it out and pulls but not as hard as stock injectors/MAF

I moved the timing down from 14 to 12 as 12 always felt better. Same thing.

I will try to turn the MAF to 3 o'clock to see if that does anything.

When I read about the possibility of the ignition module or TFI or coil being the possible issue.. I think back to spark.. I put E3 plugs in her cause I couldn't get my hands on 8 NGK's. (Yeah damn Canada)
Some say E3 are garbage. Could :poo: plugs cause the higher RPM sputter?
I can change back to stock just to check. One is cracked so I'll just go out and see if I can get 8 new NGK's

@karthief

Turning the MAF to 3 o’clock did the trick!! Pulls like a beast all gears all RPM even just stomping on it.

Didn’t want to try the 3oclock position of the MAF cause it looks..weird... but did it just to try it as I was chasing this issue with no luck.

Now my only issue is keeping the Mickey Thompsons sticking to the road.. that’s this winters project in the garage.

Appreciate the help everyone.
