Does anyone recommend or not recommend using rivets to attach a spoiler to my 15 Mustang. I hate using 3m tape and wondered if its a good alternative.

The 3M tape is very strong if applied properly and is totally reversible. Drilling holes for rivets, can be filled but it will cost you or the next owner a ton of money to have the holes filled and a respray. If it was a focus, I would say drill the holes and rivet it, but it's a mustang which will have collector value some day. On a car like this I never do anything that can't be easily reversed, and I save all the old parts.
