Ive heard that exact noise before on a 88' i used to have. believe it or not, I had a valve guide that went bad. It ended up causing tons of excess play(obviously) and the sound echoed pefectly out of the #2 header tube.

:shock: Man it woulda been bad if it woulda arc'd when you turned the key on!!!!

I had a retarded buddy that used to make dumb videos like that in his S281. needless to say his last video showed how well his face deflated the airbag. If the guy in that vid was the owner of that car... Than the car will be totaled before long.

I'm running 17x10 all 4 corners. Upr aarms/ coil overs. Pretty slammed with no rubbing.

Ouch... They are out dated heads but are still decent. For about 200$ more you could had a damn nice set of aluminum heads though.

Your rear end will be fine. Might want to freshin up the clutch packs though. 8.8's are pretty tough in stock form and can be made bullet proof easily. You t5 on the other hand is a different story. Your best bet for longevity would be use a clutch that will slip some to keep all the abuse off...

The springs should be seated completely on the perches(can't really put them on any other way) w/ tails to p/s. As for the front... On the aarm spring seat, there is a stop built in. When installing them(front springs) in the car,you seat them and turn them clockwise. The end of the bottom coil...

That seems high than I remember the norm to be. What's your compression ratio? With cylinder pressure that high I doubt it will be boost friendly.

Center the dead hooker in the car...on a serious note, alot of us have solved this issue. Like in the examples above it can be 15 different things cause it. Check what we have listed.

Sand it down man.... Make it look pretty! I have a new 3.73 rear I just built to replace my 4.10 rear I have now. Can't get motivated to put it in though. Even with 4.10's I'm getting 16-18mpg here at fort hood/Killeen. And that's 100% city stop and go! Car doesn't see 1 mile of highway.

Just take the plastic covers off the colum and everything is right there.

Your not talking about the clutch(ac) Cycling switch are you. If your talking about the little canister diaphragms inside the car, you best bet will be a pick and pull for a replacement
