ok so i have an emergency here and need to part out my 93 mustang. i decided to part it out because i wont get my money out of selling the entire car. here are the engine parts: 331 stroker shortblock-has about 500 miles on it. mahle forged flattop pistons, cast crank, balanced, etc. comes...

    Coolant Leak...

before you do that, make sure it isnt the tstat leaking and pooling in the top of the timing cover. it can seem like its coming from the opposite side. any chance of getting a better pic of the leak?

will these fit? 295/65r15 bfg drag radials 93 fox

ok so i got my 295/65r15 drag radials on 15x10" with 6" bs and i rolled the fender, removed the quad shocks, etc. the tire touches the front and rear edge of the fender and will not work! :nonono: so i guess they're going on ebay and i will get some mt et streets 275/60r15 these i KNOW will...

t/o bearing is chattering with clutch pedal out

well i finally drove the car tonight and the clicking was still there, it seemed to get worse as i drove. so i came back and looked at the clutch fork and it is chattering still and making this noise. i was able to manually make the quadrant click twice and so far it seems gone! so i guess it...

    does this pattern look ok?

well i finally got to drive my mustang tonight, after waiting for my flywheel, clutch, swapping heads and cams with my '67. this has got to be the quietest gear swap i've ever heard! i have literally no noise from the rear. thanks for the help :nice:

    wich paint gun.. need help!

in my experience bc/cc is much easier to spray, especially the new water base paint. having a thick coat of clear makes it very easy to repair any blemishes, then wet sand and polish to a perfect sheen :nice:

    any one running summit wheels?

i had a set of the draglite types on my 71 dodge dart a while back-they were a lot heavier than the welds and werent as nicely polished. also ony come with one bolt pattern so resale opportunity is lessened. other than that, had no balance issues or structural integrity issues. but i wasn't...

    Battery Drain

ok thats your problem right there. the previous owner connected the gauge or gauges to a direct power source. you need to disconnect this and hook it to an ignition power sourse, so it only has power w/key on. once this is done, use a dvm (digital volt meter) to see how many milli-amps you have...

    wich paint gun.. need help!

doesnt matter too much because you're "going to use a single stage paint" so either way you're not going to be happy with the outcome. can i ask why you dont want to go base coat/clear coat? the finish you can get after sanding and buffing a bc/cc paint job is awesome. it takes so much work to...

Anyone got this on their carb setup?

probably not much hotter than a normal carb air cleaner.

Anyone ever sprayed or boosted a 93 shortblock

+1 as long as it doesn't go lean and start pinging, the hypers will be fine. 90% of my experience is with f-body cars which all have hypers lt1, ls1 etc. never had an issue. never known a guy who had an issue that tuned properly. :D

whats the correct size carb for me?

+1 if the carb is adjusted correctly, it will run just fine. i run a quadrajunk on my 67 that was built by a local guy that really knows his stuff. i had a demon and he built this thing for my combo-they're about 750 cfm or so and it really woke up my car-smoother acceleration, great throttle...

t/o bearing is chattering with clutch pedal out

maybe, maybe not, i've never really looked at it before except on my '67 which has an adjustable end and a return spring so its pretty tight. i though maybe after i drive it the quadrant may click one more time and take up some slack because if i apply just a little pressure the chattering...

t/o bearing is chattering with clutch pedal out

i can lightly pry against the clutch fork and it stops, or put the clutch in and it stops. the car is still in the air after new flywheel and clutch install, is the clutch cable too loose? after i drive it will this go away? thanks :flag:

Taurus fan guys in here...pics please (other e-fans too)

i have the exact same setup, except i have a blue bottle and i also want to change to a black bottle. is there any way to mount the stock overflow on the pass side of the shroud?

    anyone hide their bottle?

i buy it-look in the 1st pic the left rear quarter is bulged out, then look under the bumper skin, the actual impact material (grate like stuff) is unhurt. that would have been interesting trying to explain to insurance. :( anyway, it just goes to show how important all the safety equipment...
