I wonder how my 09 5 spd with 3.31 gears, Superchips tune and Ford Racing CAI would do against an LS2 GTO? Would probably be fairly close IMO.

It just seems to me the shifter knob shouldn't rub on the console in 1st or 2nd gear, I can't imagine that's part of the "design". It will definetly get worn out in time.

Hey guys, been quite a while since I last posted, hope everyone is doing well. I bought an 09 GT 5 spd last week, and so far I love it. But I seem to be having a minor issue with the shifter. I think the shift handle is a bit out of alignment or something, because the shift boot/ knob rubs...

Just wanted to bring this back up, I tried to do a quick fix on this but it doesnt seem to have done any good. From when I got this car, the number two plug gets fouled very quickly, and the electrode looks an odd orange-ish color when i take it out. So I did the valve seals on that one...

BTT...

I should also mention, I recently started using 20w50 oil, yet it still consumes about a quart every 400 or so miles.

The 95 is the one in question here. Like I said, it was originally a V6 car so its hard to say how many miles are the motor. The odo says 189k so if the engine actually does have that on it then I can understand the smoke lol.

Hey guys, for a while now my Mustang has been pushin some blue smoke out of the tailpipes. It does it on hard acceleration, or coasting down a hill when i get back on the gas. I'm thinking it might be valve seals, but at the same time I wonder if it could be rings ( hoping not). I compression...

I know they aren't accurate, I just wish the thing would work. I just got through putting a new temp sender in and it still doesnt budge. What would be the next step from here?

Thanks for the info, I wasnt aware if the 5.0's used a harmonic balancer type pulley or not. Think there will be much SOTP difference with this mod?

Hey guys, I'm thinking about picking up a set of UD pulleys and I'm wondering if I need any special tools for this job. I've heard you need some sort of puller to get the crank pulley off the motor but not sure if this is true or not. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah I don't see why 4.30's would be any noisier than any other ratio, my friend has done quite a few gear installs and none of them have made noise, he's pretty meticulous about the setup, and everyone has been pleased.
