    2000 Gt High Fuel Pressure

If happens when not even in boost, just normal city driving.

    2000 Gt High Fuel Pressure

My 2000 GT's fuel pressure at times gets into the 60's when the ambient temp is really hot. At start-up and under 'normal' ambient temps regardless how long I drive it (about 50 miles each way city and highway) it stays around 40ish, but in the afternoons driving home while in the city it will...

Has anyone removed their PCV hose to the intake and put a breather in?

Thanks Trom. Do you have or know where I can find some photos of a PVC-less catch can setup as you describe?

Has anyone removed their PCV hose to the intake and put a breather in?

I'm chasing down what I think might be a small vacuum leak somewhere, maybe in the EVAP system, but that's another story. I was also recently thinking about removing the PCV valve and install breathers on both sides, thus the interest in this thread. From what I've read elsewhere you can...

    EVAP & Fuel Pressure Problem

No codes, but during my OBDII scans I am showing these failed tests: $21 EVAPI (Evaporative Fuel Tank Pressure Initial Low-High...) $25 EVAPRISEL4 And yes the car runs poorly. Feels like it has a misfire, but I'm sure it's not an electrical (plugs) misfire. Poor power, the fuel press...

    Deep Dish Bullitt Wheels (18x10)?

:rlaugh: Not only that but I'm dumping the coil-overs for the conventional config, albeit with new parts. Gus at Steeda is sending me some new Cobra front LCA's with the X2 balljoints installed, Superlight Springs, Tokico adjustables and few other goodies. The MM coil-overs have been way to...

    Deep Dish Bullitt Wheels (18x10)?

Tom - yea, I also got a link to the replica site witha ton of pics. I think I'm sold on the deep dish. Love that look. I'll transfer my 295/35/18's from the rear over to these 18x10's, as well as the 275/35/18's from the front over to a set of 18x9's. I have really tore up the Cobra r's...

    Deep Dish Bullitt Wheels (18x10)?

Anybody running (and have pics of) Deep Dish Bullitt Wheels (18x10) on their 94 and Up? I was looking at these at http://www.mustangtuning.com/blbu1.html and the deep dish black ones really caught my eye. And with the straight Spinner caps I think they look great. What do you think about this...

Flaming River Power Rack for 94-04

LOL, hey Scotty, yea still kicking and the stang is still screaming. World's in a miserable state so I stay pretty busy. Yea, agree about Flaming River's rep. I think I'll go with their kit. My rack sounds like it's coming apart inside, rattling and clanging big time inside the cylinder.

Flaming River Power Rack for 94-04

Has anyone tried this new power steering rack kit that fits a 2000 GT? The entire kit which includes a complete shaft kit, two piece mounting bushings, outer tie rod ends, the fittings to connect to the existing power steering lines and uses the stock power steering pump is part number...

    Vertical Doors .........

Wait a minute. Criticism isn’t an opinion, it’s just mean. It’s your car; you decide how much money to spend on it and on what. Don’t give a rats a$$ what someone else thinks. If I like it and you don’t, thanks for your opinion. But if you think you can make me feel bad about it, screw you...

    Official SN Power Adder Poll

Devin - way too much "bad" in the world, so it's keeping me real busy if you know what I mean :( but can always be worse. Where U at now? Blue's still running great, but haven't been to the track in Yongin since real early spring. Got 23K now with the KB (79K total) and running strong...

    3:73s and a blower??

You're misinformed a bit. The PI Heads that come stock on your 2000 GT can easily take 400hp, they can take tons more hp than that, in fact the "heads" are probably good for 650+hp. It's the rods that are the weakest link and they don't come out, they break, but those too are good for 400+hp...

    3:73s and a blower??

What type blower? If Twin Screw don't go more than 3.73's. I have them and love them with my KB, but with the torque the KB, and roots blowers, put out, 3.73's are tops.

    KENBELLE 2.2

You missd the entire point of the :bs: It was aimed at "most people who get supercharged don't take it easy anyway", and that is not true. Yea, everybody has fun, but there are more non racing supercharged and turbocharged cars on our American streets than there are those who only race. Good...

    KENBELLE 2.2

Na, that's :bs: there are lots of street cars out there that don't race, in fact probably more than do. I have 14 trips down the track in mine since the blower, and that's all. Na, it's not luck, it's a good tune. And I've got 72K miles total on the car, so you know it's nice and loose.

    Just Ordered Kenne Bell

Sean Hyland vs DSS vs CHP

Not personal experiance but my buddy here got one from SHM less than a year ago and seemed to think very highly of them. What about VT Engineering? www.vtengines.com/home1.htm

    KENBELLE 2.2

15 months and 19K Miles worth of borrowed time so far and still going strong... all well worth it at this point to me. Everyone needs to decide their own level of risk and what it's worth to them. And while the rods are most definately the weakest link, it all depends on how hard you are on...
