    A/C problem on 95 GT

I don't believe it did - I specifically was looking for those that included stop-leak. So far it's been 3 weeks and the A/C is still ice cold, so until the gummed up compressor blows I guess I'm good! ;)

    A/C problem on 95 GT

Uh oh. I guess I should have done more research before trying it but I figured in order for it to be low it must be leaking from somewhere.

    A/C problem on 95 GT

Thanks JJ. I actually found after some troubleshooting that the system was out of refrigerant. I charged it with the stop leak added R134a so we'll see how long it lasts.

    A/C problem on 95 GT

I apologize for reviving an old thread but that seems better than opening a new thread. My question is, how do you replace the low pressure switch? Does the system need to be evaporated by a shop first?

How do you remove the plastic shroud around the steering column? I've removed the lower portion, but I can't figure out how to get the top piece off where it wraps around the ignition...

    Turn Signal Help

Here's an update with a tad more info - I pulled all the turn signal bulbs and checked the resistance / verified they are good. The taillights & brake lights work, but here's an interesting note - If I am holding the brake down and turn on the right turn signal, the right brake light turns...

    Turn Signal Help

My mom's 1994 GT convertible was stored in a garage for about 5 years until recently. All seems well but the turn signals mostly don't work. Occasionally the left turn signal works but the right signal works less frequently, and when it does the signal blinks at double to triple the normal...

The interior is tan, so that's one reason I've considered tan. That red/black looks quite nice tho.

Post pics of verts white or red w/ black or tan top pls

I need to get a new top for my 94 vert. Currently it's white, but it may be painted red. Please post pics of red or white verts with black or tan tops. I'm having a tough time deciding on top color. :nice:

    Convertable top replacement

I have a 94 GT Vert that has a rotting top. The back glass is still intact, so can I just buy the top without a window and transfer this one? Is it hard to change the top?

    Power inverter to battery hook-up

The unit has an on/off switch that will prevent it from draining the battery. Now if I go off and forget to switch it off, then I am screwed. But I don't think that will be a problem. The length of wire I need will be about 5 feet or so.

    Power inverter to battery hook-up

I picked up a 400W power inverter today.I want to wire it straight to the battery. It has a built in 40 amp fuse. What size (gauge) of wire should I use to connect to the battery, and what size (amps) of a fuse should I put in the power wire? I was thinking of using 8ga. wire with a 60amp AGU...

    'Cleaning' threads

Hiya Michael! The reason I wanted to 'clean' my threads was because last time I changed plugs I remember them feeling a bit odd coming out and going in. It felt like they were slightly cross threaded or something.

    'Cleaning' threads

I'm going to change my spark plugs this weekend, and I'd like to do something I haven't done before - clean up the threads in my GT40 aluminum heads. I haven't used a tap before so I thought I'd ask first to make sure I'm not going to mess anything up. After using a cloth and a wire brush to...

    Window Tint

I'm still confused about the back window measuring part. So you use soapy water to put the tint on the outside of the back window, then push all the bubbles out (with or without a heat gun), then you trim the tint. Then you remove the tint from the outside, and install it using soapy water on...
