My headers run too close to the trans. so my clutch cable gets hot and melts after a while, I bought header wrap and also wrapped the clutch cable with a wrap designed for spark plug wires, but after a while it still gets too hot and melts. I dont have enough money for new headers right now but...

I have 250 shot on my stock saleen lower... the pistons only shatter if your a goober and dont set the timing down...

I have mine set up the same way. the a$$ end high in the air makes for bad cornering. not everyone likes to only be able to go straight, some of us know how to drive.....lol...

WELL THIS IS A LATE ANSWER...Sorry But the lifter oil passage is supposed to be facing the lifter valley. The reason is a simple gravity one. yes you can run them backwards due to the groove the the oil runs around in but the hole facing the upward direction helps for when the pump & lifters...

E-bay has 40p's bare all the time for 199.

hit a discount tire they have the plastic calipers there to tell you exactly... you can try to measure it yourself but usually you'll be off by a lil bit.

I had a bad ignition switch one time that did the same thing to me. pulled every fuse but the batt does have a hot wire that goes to the ignition switch before the fuse box.... GOOD LUCK TO YOU WITH YOUR GREMLINS...

Stage 8's are expensive. I just drilled holes in the heads of the bolts and used lacing wire to a small hole drilled into the steel flange that runs the length of the headers. (same way we lock down bolts on the machinegun mounts for the new coupolas) :D :nice:

Well it gets better, I found a set of gt40p heads on e-bay new for 299. so now I will have the matching heads, intake and throw the B cam into the mix....only thing is the longtube headers have to have the 90deg boots for the sparkplugs.....

I love mine, it seems lots smoother than the t-5 I used to drive. Gonna do the gears soon and see if i still like it then...lol.... It was a pullout from another car. recieved everything from the flywheel to the yoke. :nice:

Thanks to all that responded, the guy that has a gt40 intake will be taking his car down next week (someting came up today), so I will make the trade with him next week. next weekend Everthing will be changed over at one time... Put the b303 in, take the saleen intake off and put the gt40...
