Found some pictures of the setup a few years ago. The rims/tires are in great shape. No rash or damage. 20" Thruxton rims/tires for on a 2006 Mustang GT - a set on Flickr

    20" Thruxton rims & tires

The front rims are 9.0" in the front and 10.0" in the rear. Toyo Proxes are the tires and the tires are in great shape. There are no TPS sensors with this setup. The rims are like new. There is no road rash. I will send some pictures.

    20" Thruxton rims & tires

These rims were on a newer Mustang and wow is all I can say. This setup looks incredible on a Mustang and really stands out. By far the best looking rim I have seen on a Mustang and the pictures do no justice to how they look on a newer Mustang. They are Thruxton 20" with Toyo Proxes with...

What do stock 99-04 GT's dyno on a Dynojet.

SAE or STD, what did you get. No posts with I only had X done...stock, as it came from the dealer brand new. I have seen dozens upon dozens of 99-04 GT's dyno...I have seen as low as 210 rwhp (auto) to as high as (227 rwhp) manual. There is a local guy claiming his car made 251 rwhp...

How fast have you got your v6?

Playing with calcs is an easy to get unrealistic about the performance of a car. Once you start getting up there in speed, you have to make a considerably amount to get to a particular MPH fast because aerodynamics come into play. The new Mustangs exactly are not the most aerodynamic cars...

    Normal for higher altitudes?

Guys, he asks a good question and I see a video of a skyline...which has what to do with the question. Altitude kills performance. That is why boosted cars rule at altitude...they create their own atmosphere in a sense.

Does full synth oils = more RWHP

I have been hanging around a bud's dyno shop for years and I have seen 100's upon 100's of cars dyno. You can typically expect 5-10 rwhp with an oil engine change only.

Bone stock times for a 05+ GT

    My wife's car. First time out with a full tank of gas. 60' - 2.0610 330' - 5.7237 594' - 8.2408 660' - [email protected] 1000' -11.3997 1320' - [email protected] DA was 1500 and it corrects to [email protected] Second time out with a 1/4 tank of gas...but worse track prep. 60' - 2.1362...

    dynoed

STD & SAE are both corrected...just to different conditions. Your STD dyno numbers can be compared to his STD dyno numbers because you both correct to the same conditions.

    HorsePower

Balls have nothing to do with their decisions...and the power levels they are going to be at are just an extension from the current GTO's and Vettes. What do you think a fully loaded Mustang will cost in a few years?

    The Dream Car Factory

Word is the got in over their heads....but who knows. I did hear that they did have some smoking cars. To bad.

    HorsePower

Don't get to hung up on horsepower...it is only a number and winning races involves more. My 1996 Camaro Z28 LT1 A4 was rated at 285 hp and ran [email protected] mph a long time ago. This was after learning how to drive the car...the very best it could do. My wife's 2006 Mustang GT M5 is rated...

2006 GT dynoed better than I though it would.

No drivetrain is that efficient. I would assume a 12% loss. How about some of the cars are a tad underrated.

2006 GT dynoed better than I though it would.

I took my wife's 2006 GT 5 speed to our local dyno shop. It made 283.9 and 303.6 at the wheels stock. Pulled the stock air filter at it made 288.2 and 308.7. I thougt it did pretty good and I thought I would share.

My 2007 Mustang GT (automatic) turned 13.682 tonite

Your DA was around 1400'...so in better weather you could get 13.4's@103 easily. Congrats.

Took the wife's 2006 GT to the track...ran ok.

Bone stock 2006 Mustang GT 5 speed. Full tank of 87 octane, no weight reduction whatsoever, 32 psi in all four stock tires, 7000 miles on the odometer and the DA was in the 1400-1500 range. 60' - 2.0610 330' - 5.7237 594' - 8.2408 660' - [email protected] 1000' - 11.3997 1320' - [email protected]...

Hosed at the gas pump -- by your debit card

I think that if your that close to bouncing checks and having non-sufficient funds..you have other problems that need addressed. I mean I hope $75 does not sink your ship...because if it does, your ship was already sinking. What I tell my buds to do is get a cash back credit card. I get 5%...
