Are The Older 4.6Ls Really That Bad?

They made less power then the 99+ GTs because of the head and intake design. The good news is you can put the 99+ (pi) heads and intake on a 96-98 and make the same power. If you read any mustang mags 5.0 mustangs and superfords just did an article about those engines. They make good power...

    the ultimate decision

I'm always skeptical of deals on ebay that seem to good to be true, they usually are. I would go with the blower. From what I hear and read there is a lot more to a 4v conversion then just a motor/tranny swap.

    Help with rumbling sound

As the clutch is almost fully released in 1st and 2nd there is a rumbling sound coming from the engine. It also occurs between 1500 and 2500 rpms sometimes in higher gears if I floor it. Anybody have any ideas what this could be??

    What to do???

Should I get a 99+ GT or spend the money to fix my 96GT. Here is what it needs: 1. body work total ~ 3K 2. well over 120K odometer stopped working there 3. non-pi 4. Interior is 10+ years old. It won't be long before it needs a new motor and tranny (especially the way I have been...

OK, I need help, front suspension problems

Yes, I took mine out but it is really easy, first time ever doing anything like that. I couldn't get to the power steering lines so I removed the rack, supported it with a paint can and disconnected the lines. If you want to remove the a-arm you have to do it. Unless someone knows some crazy...

OK, I need help, front suspension problems

Search the site for steeda spring install, there is a great step by step with a lot of pics. The rears are 10x's easier than the fronts. When I got my alignment everything went smooth, no real issues, cc plates and bump steer are next though.
