    hey thats almost my cam i have the xe264hr mine is 544 lift 212/218 and it lopes a little so i imagine yours will sound a little more lopey since you have more duration, you wont have to flycut the pistons? i have afr 185's with 1.72's and mine are cut.

    ok guys so far so good!!!!!!!! fired her up today and took her around the block!!! autometer read 250+ so im like wtf i unhooked it and rehooked up the stock gauge reads like this C l H right smack in the middle. no biggie right? so tomorrow i will change the oil again...

    i have hotchkis struts with cc plates and steeda bump steer in the front and steeda springs all the way around toxicos in the rear with bilstien quads with maximum motorsports uppers and lowers steeda adjustable sway bar in rear also, I HAVE NEVER DRIVEN A MUSTANG THAT RIDES AS NICE AS THIS ONE...

    :shrug: i agree, seems like if they werent blocked they would just flow right back into the waterpump. i have heard of people ceramic filling all those holes so just the upper part of the motor cools dont know why but i just heard that. :shrug:

    pulled passenger side head off all four pistons have water... anyone have pics of how the head gasket is supposed to look on the block? there are four passages two in front two in rear the ones in the front were blocked by the head gasket the ones in rear were open.

    havent pulled the heads yet but i have the upper and lower off.... lower didnt seat right in the rear a.k.a. rear seal blown. there is water in the oil.... looks like a milkshake. im getting all new gaskets from discount on warranty, good friend is a manager there.

    well i put the gaskets on, they were black with blue outlining one side on each gasket said "front" on both sides... i put that part facing the radiator. as far as intake i had to cut out a corner on the water jacket because it was hanging over the port, which made the opening rectangle...
