    What Tuner?

Any unmarried tuner will have to be sent back to SCT before you can use it. The last I remember it cost about $150 to renew it but I could be wrong. SCT and Bama are the same tuner, Bama just has their name on it.

Who Bought Theirs New And Still Own It?

I bought my 2006 GT in May of 06. I still have the car and will keep it forever. I have made many modifications to the car and made it the way I wanted it. I lowered it and put different wheels on it before I even brought it home. Here is a pic of when I first got it. Here are some shots of...

2006 Rear Shock Mount Isolator Problem...

Not trying to be insulting but do you have the shock fully extended? If it's fully extended and too short, then you have an incorrect shock.

    Wilwood Or Gt500 Brake Upgrade?

The install was straight forward on the fronts but a little involved on the rears, as I had an early version that wasn't specifically made for our cars. I understand the rear install is much easier now. You can get the Wilwood's in black or red.

    Wilwood Or Gt500 Brake Upgrade?

Never had the Brembo's on this car but I had them on my 96 and they were good. I have had Wilwood brakes on my 06 for almost 9 years now and they have been great. I think they are a little superior to the GT500 Brembo's, better rotor and caliper design.

    Yet Another Tuner Thread

All the CAI will do is let the engine breath better, the tune will increase the performance and require premium fuel because it will increase the timing for more power. If you get a good tune from a good tuner then it will also change the torque management and some other parameters to really...

    Front End Bottomed Out

Sounds like the lowering kit you got was not the correct match. Can you return it or get them to send the correct front springs?

    Yet Another Tuner Thread

From what you are describing, I think you would be better off staying stock. A CAI and a tune will really change the car and make it perform much better but it will require premium fuel to do so. It will run between $600-$700 for an CAI and the tuner, then you will have to run premium gas, at...

Help 2005 Mustang Gt Auto To Manual Swap

If you don't feel capable to do the swap yourself, there has to be many Mustang oriented Performance shops in the LA area. I would check some of them out, reputations and such, to have them do the swap. It's a pretty straight forward swap, so I would imagine something in the $800-$900 labor...

Help 2005 Mustang Gt Auto To Manual Swap

You can flash auto to manual, you just can't flash manual to auto. If you are going from a manual to an auto it requires a new auto PCM. Any good tuner can turn you auto PCM into a manual by making the tune for a manual. The dealers could do it but they wont, for liability reasons. Since you...

Best Rear End Gears For 4.6 V8

3.73's are the best gear for the automatics. The manual works best with 4.10's but with the gearing of the auto it works best with 3.73's IMHO.

Opinion 2006 To 2009,2010 To 2015 Best Looking Body Style

Love the 05-09, the 10-14 are alright but don't really like the rear end. I absolutely hate the new 2015, looks like a Toyota.

    Lowering Springs

If you haven't purchased your springs yet, I have a set of Steeda Ultra-Lite springs with about 7000 miles on them I am going to sell. These springs gave me about 1 inch front and 1 1/2 inch rear drop and a really good ride. You can get away without Camber bolts and a new Panhard bar with this...

    Tuners Better Than Bama?

Curtis, the Bama is just an SCT tuner with their name on it. I would recommend getting in touch with this guy, Mike Rousch at Mid Atlantic Performance 1730 Arlington Road, Richmond VA 23230 (MAP) Phone: 1-804-332-6685 - Email:[email protected] Mike can get you whichever intake...

Should I Buy This Supercharged 2005 Gt?

I wouldn't touch that car for that price. That is a Magnuson blower and it's a crappy blower. He may say it's a lazy tune but that blower is about maxed out at those power levels, you also can't run much more that that hp on the stock engine. You can find a used 2011 GT for around $20,000, that...

    4.10 Install Now Noisey

It needs to be fixed if you want quiet. It wont really hurt the gears, it's just noisy. Gears on the 8.8 rear are very difficult to set up so that they are quiet. It's almost an art, some guys can do it and some guys can't, also there is something about the 4.10 gear ratio that makes them even...

3:31 To 4:10 And Cruise Control

Ford doesn't offer 4.10 gears as an option, so that's why they say it doesn't work. With an auto the shifting is based both on rpm and mph. When you change to 4.10's you can change the gear ratio in the tune and the speedometer mph will be correct but the rpm will be off. For best results you...
