    I'd put money on the head unit being the problem. Pioneer's are know for developing this problem. Especially if you have removed the stereo without disconnecting the power.

    you aren't seeing the full potential of the amps... less efficient... probably not an audible difference but would help the amps if you upgraded your grounds.

    DC electricity travels in a loop. It is just as important to provide a path back to the battery with a wire capable of carrying the higher current.

    you need to upgrade the grounds at the battery.... also, have a dedicated ground for your amps. never use a bolt that already exists (ei. seat belt bolt, hood latch bolt ect.).

    Not much... Just clean up the wiring (even though it is out of sight). Fused distribution blocks for the power to the amps (this pics scares me ). And of course.... Upgrade the grounds. Other than that, the finished product looks GREAT :hail2:.

    well with that much power, i would run 2 batts and a high output alternator. a cap is not the answer. also with that much power, ALL of your grounds need to be upgraded. Battery to chassis, chassis to body, chassis to engine block and the positive wire from alt to batt.

    well... do you have a 12v cordless drill? you could use that batt. to fire it up. make sure you hook the wires to the correct terminal though.
