OEM 2021 Mach 1 wheels with TPMS and all-season tires. Wheels are 19 x 9.5, +40 front, 19 x 10, +52.5 rear. Didn't care for the stock gunmetal color against my silver car so painted them black, followed by clear coat and ceramic coat, very happy with the way they turned out. Pic below taped off...

Bought these from a GT350 owner with 1600 miles on them, and used them on my 2018 Mustang GT for another 3500 miles. The car handled so much better than it did with my stock PP1 wheels. Ran them with the stock GT350 295/35 front and 305/35 rear tires and never had one bit of trouble with...

OK this is driving me nuts...I have an 03 Cobra and when the body flexes, there is a loud creak noise that seems to come from behind the passenger side rear seat. I took all the trim out of the trunk and finally found that putting pressure on one of the sheet metal supports behind the seat made...
Yup I'm gonna do the sway bar end links and also urethane sway bar bushings. Those should be the last places left that can deform under load and allow hop, glad to hear you had luck with it!
I have an 03 and installed Prothane urethane lower control arm bushings and MM IRS subframe bushings, with Prothane urethane spring isolators. Hooks up MUCH better now. When you order the LCA bushings from MM, they send you Prothane's. DEFINITELY buy the $25 bushing removal tool, you will...
2003 Torch Red Cobra, 10th anniversary package, 2000 Cobra R wheels (18 x 9 front, 18 x 9.5 rear), Koni adjustable rear shocks, Eibach springs, MM IRS subframe bushings, Prothane rear lower control ar
You're right, the main differences are the halfshafts, the factory gears, and the differential brace. The brace is just a bolt-on piece that you can buy separately for around $150. The bushing replacement is very time consuming, I had about 25-30 hours in replacing just the lower control arm...
Well what worked for my 03 was stock 03 front springs (600 lbs/in vs. 500 lbs/in for 99 stock springs), Maximum Motorsports top/bottom spring isolators front and rear, Eibach Pro-Kit 99-01 rear springs (Eibach part # 3590.002), and Koni Sport adjustable rear shocks.
Here's a way to increase grip and reduce wheel hop that I haven't seen posted before....works on 03 or 04 Cobra coupes. If you want better traction at launch, you need to transfer weight to the rear. This means two things, you want the roll centers of the car to be higher rather than lower...
Right on with the tires Meat, it's all about temperature, the rubber turns to steel when it's cold. But as far as wheel hop goes, I installed Koni Sport adjustable shocks on my 03 and at max stiffness still got hop. But adding Eibach Pro Kit rear springs and Maximum Motorsports upper and lower...
