Unless you are investing in a VERY low numbers production car, you are wasting time tying up money in the collectible side of newer production automobiles. A Saleen, Roush, GT500, etc simply aren't investment type automobiles, modified or sitting with the sticker and plastic still on...

I have to agree with you...I don't think the Saleen is anywhere near 4000 pounds with a driver. I recall seeing a figure of 3500 and change or so from someone who took their car to a weigh station and had it scaled. Don't remember if thats was with the driver, or without. Premium GT curb...

Take them off and paint them basecoat/clearcoat black, or whatever color you like. Same with any of the textured plastic pieces.

Lots of buffer trails on the paint. Might want to make a note of that if you are litigating.

You would think someone would clean up the engine bay and lose the cell phone holder on an ultra-limited production car like that. :shrug:
