they looked like mt but i wasnt sure, im running 315's on 17x10.5's as well but on a smaller tire (nitto).. I really want to run some mt dr, does the tire bulge a little or is it look pretty flush with the wheel ?

good find, interesting for sure. I liked how they dyno tested the engine after every little mod they did.

i used to run 255/40 with 17x9's up front when i had cobra r's and it only rubbed at full turn of the steering wheel.

im running 17x8 235/40 tires

I removed the quad shocks awhile ago but I have hd upper and lower control arms as well as mm panhard bar. I would recommend longer studs if you will drag race it with slicks but 1/4 inch isn't that much, I ran it a few times with the nitto 315DR and spacers at the track with no issues.

GLAD you found the problem congrats ! Must be a good feeling after all that time trying to figure it out ! I will have to do this next to my stang since I had the same exact problem as you were encountering...

I think it would look perfect on a 10.5, nitto runs a little on the narrow side so a "true" 295 tire would probably be identicle to a nitto 315 DR.

I used a heat gun and hit it lightly with a hammer

im runnung 17x10.5's on nitto 315 DR, running stock length fox axles, beat the inner fenders and rolled the outter fenders, 1/4 inch spacer.
