    turbo questions

Have the PH76mm. Started with the PH67mm and then upgraded as car become modded more for the strip than the street. Now car is not driven on the street. Great product and service from PH. Noticed considerable lag going from the 67mm to the 76mm during street driving. Lag is eliminated for...

The 2011 GT is Daytona 500 Pace Car (and they're selling one TODAY)

The mustang pace car will look good next to the camaro pace car. Looks like the mustang will be pacing on the 14th and the camaro on the 15th. Both Ford and Chevy make it sound like theirs is the only pace car. Official 2010 Camaro Daytona 500 Pace Car Revealed - Camaro Blog 2010 Chevy...

    05-09 4" Cowl Hood ?

Pics of the Cervini 4 inch cowel on our car. I do not recommend for a regular street vehicle. Don't go higher than a 3 inch. Fit is excellent. Car is expected to trap 140+ (with new build) and no plans for hood pins.

    aftermarket hoods

+1...no hood pins either and we're expecting 140+ in the 1/4 with new build

Hey, what do y'all think of this?

Don't like the new shape at all. Still car would look better with blue stripe.

I need advice on a kb blower

You did not build up motor, but did build transmission and other areas, to get those all day long 11.4s. The KB is a terrific blower. My mate also has had the 2.4L KB on his 05GT for a very long time. Over time (after breaking lots of stuff), he built up his motor, rearend etc and recently...

Best guess on set up + thoughts

If you can stand the wait time...forced induction even on stock internals will net you, way more hp. For example, my tuner on a heavily loaded mustangdyno, will comfortably go to 435 rwhp on an otherwise stock S197.

    What can these motors handle?

I wouldn't trust rwhp numbers. They vary so much from operator to operator and dyno machine (mustang to dynojet etc). There are two dynoshops in my area. The mustangdyno we use now offered 20% lower numbers than the dynojet we used to use (at the same boost and power level). Some folk use our...

    I can't get no traction

He's right...the M&Hs run small. Think the rim was 17 deep dish. Still have them laying around somewhere. If the wheel well in the closeup pic looks jagged...it's because we had to do some cutting at the track, when we noticed the metal was cutting into the tires. We have to drill the tires...

    450rwhp supercharged vs 150shot????

    what is your elevation?

    I can't get no traction

As the hp level on our car climbed, we migrated from Nitto DRs, to M&H Drs,to MT DRs, Hoosiers slicks and now back to MT slicks. The stickier the tire, the less efficient they are at evacuating water though. Close up pic of the Hoosiers under stress at launch The MTs warming up...

    fuel pump

I am no expert either. Certainly the least mechanically inclined on our little team. Our car has gone from stock pumps to a piggy-back pump, to the GT500 duals + 2 single KB BAPs, to the Lethal triple pump system with megadriver and now a return-style small fuel cell (being built). The only...

    Hood pins

It's a safety issue only for us. We don't have any yet, but we are talking about it for the first time. Car is expected to go 140+ at the strip next time out, but we don't have to worry about highway winds and 18 wheeler blasts, since car is not street-legal anymore. We'll likely get some...

    fuel pump

Search the supercharger and turbo vendors. Look at their different level kits and see what fuel supply is recommended.

    Staggered or not?

Yes...they did stick out just a tad...maybe 1/2 inch. They were M&H Racemaster DRs 325/45/17. The rear rims were 17s deep dish 10.5. Even back then, car had very little street use, 10-15 miles per week in 25-35 speed zones, so it was OK using the M&H DRs, even on wet roads. They are a very...

    Staggered or not?

Old pic, since car has not been driven on the street for over a year. No longer street legal.
