1967 Fastback & 1967 Project Coupe For Sale

I'm purchasing a new home and need to liquidate my cars and parts inventory ASAP. I have two 67 Mustangs, a coupe and a fastback. The coupe is a project car currently in pieces. I purchased it with plans of transplanting an 89 Mustang GT (included) drivetrain into it. The car is an A-Code car...

    Engine Wiring Pictures

Here's the underdash plate. Some of the wiring exits through the A/C drain hole in the lower firewall while the headlight, turn signal, horn wiring, fan, etc exits farther up the firewall and ultimatley under the fender apron

    Engine Wiring Pictures

I routed most of my wiring under the fender aprons and some just below the upper lip of the passenger side valve cover as well as along the rail of the oil pan. The ignition coil, starter solenoid and coil were mounted under the dash on an aluminum plate.

    Oil Pan For EFI Conversion

I’m swapping a 1988 EFI motor into my 67 coupe and need to replace the oil pan with a front sump only design. The only front sump pans I find indicate that they are for a 2-piece rear main seal. I assume the 88 5.0 is a 1-piece seal. Is there a difference in a 1-piece rear seal oil pan and a...

    Collapsible Column Retrofit

I’m in the process of installing a 68 collapsible column into my wife’s 67 coupe. Will I be able to use the 67 bracket to secure the column to the dash or will I have to locate hardware specific to the collapsible column? Thanks for any input.

    EFI, Fox Brake Booster Question

Thanks for the reply. I’ve actually got the booster and clutch master cylinder installed and I’ve been trying to measure clearances and it had appeared very close. I really didn’t want to give up either the booster or the hydraulic clutch. If I can ask, did you relocate the pin on the brake...

    EFI, Fox Brake Booster Question

I’m planning on transplanting an EFI motor from an 88 Mustang GT into a 67 coupe. I’d like to use the fox body brake booster but I’m concerned about clearance issue with the EFI intake. Has anyone had experience with this combination?

Im so close to ordering a new interior, but prices are confusing me!

I’m also looking into doing a complete 67 deluxe interior from scratch and have found that your estimate of $2,500 may not be too far off. To complete a Deluxe 67 door alone involves a lot of expensive parts. In some of the previous replies a price for the aluminum door insert was quoted at $65...

Anyone in OHIO know these guys?

I’ve taken several parts to them for stripping (leaf springs, driveshaft) but never an entire body. The last time I was there I saw a 65-66 fastback that they had recently completed and it looked pretty impressive. I think they’re kind of pricey but I can’t complain about their service. If...

BOSS 302 - How could you let it get like this?

For those altruistic few who are out to defend the truth and integrity of the history of the Boss 302 you need to tell the whole story. You fail to mention that oil cooler equipped cars came with a unique engine code (300B) and most with a 4:30 rearend and a Detroit Locker. Coincidently a...

    TCP Coilover Advisory

Kudos to Jay/Mustang Depot for their proactive efforts in addressing this issue. I purchased a coilover kit from Mustang Depot last year and in addition to the best pricing I could find, their customer service and promptness was as good as I’ve found. I was very surprised when I received a...

RPM or Stealth Intake with this combo?

We're in the same boat. I'm in the process of building a 408 with AFR 205's, 10:1 CR and a cam with similar lift numbers but a little more duration. I've asked the Gods of the ford induction world (principally, Ed @ FTI) about the use of the Stealth (I'm trying to retain my stock 67 hood). His...

    Nine Inch Pinion Angle

I just checked my invoice from Currie and it indicated that the perches were set at 2.5 degree's. I went out to the car and also measured the bottom of the spring plate and found it to be pointing down at approximately 7 degree's, hence the 4 degree's at the pinion. Are your leaf springs...

    Nine Inch Pinion Angle

I recently purchased a Nine Inch housing from Currie. I had them weld on a set of spring perches to what they said was the factory setting for pinion angle. After I installed the rear end I notice a small vibration in the driveline. I began to investigate and noticed that the rear pinion is...

    Tremec TKO

The install of a TKO in my 67 FB had the angle of the engine so radically altered, the fan blades extended ¾” above the top of the fan shroud. That was with the TKO pressed solidly against the tunnel with a floor jack. I took advice from several forums as well as a couple of vendors that the...
