I have a set of Gt40p heads and a noticed that they dont have the smog pump ports ont he back of the heads. i heard you can tap the head with a 5/8 tap 11 threads per inch. If i were to do this, would there be any problems when i hook up the smog pump?

Im in the process of putting gt40p heads and a E303 cam on my 93 gt. The gt40s are bare and im kinda on a budget. Could i use the rockers, springs, lifters and pushrods from the origonal heads? If not, any input on which to get?

I already have a set of Speed Pro 2305 pistons on there way. Is there any possability of the valves from the P heads hitting?

Im putting together an engine for my 93. I have a 5.0 block from a 91 with stock deck height. I got a pair of GT40P heads. And a E303 cam with 1.6 rockers. Does anyone have any idead on the deck height i should machine the block to for a little higher compression? Or should i just leave that...

Hey guys. Im in the process of building a motor for my 93 GT. Its going to be bored .30 over with an explorer Gt40 intake and 70 mm throttle body with 76mm Mass air and 24lb injectors. Im not sure on with Head, cam, and rockers to use that will make decent power and not completely kill my wallet...

Hey guys, i just recently got a gt40 upper and lower intake for my 93 GT. Im going to put a 70mm throttle body on it also. Im looking at buying a new mass air meter that is calibrated for 24lb injectors which it comes with. Will this just be a bolt on and drive item or does something else need...

I just read that on the 97 intakes, the EGR cant be installed. Is this true? If so is there anything i can do?

any special gaskets or other special parts i might need?

I was thinking of getting an upper and lower intake manifold from a 5.0 explorer. Im not sure what year it is. I want to put it on my 93 Gt . Is there anything i need to know or any special parts i need to get or modify to fit? Thanks guys

In the morning i am going to get a roller block from somebody in town. I have a 93 GT. I am planning on building a 347 or a 331 stroker with this block. How many different types of roller 5.0 engines are there and will it matter if this block is from an 85 or 86?

Check the vacuum bridge on the driver side of the engine compartment on the firewall. There is a line that is labeled HVAC. Check it for breaks all the way to the other end

I recently installed new brake pads and rotors on my 93 gt. The rotors are off ebay. Slotted and drilled. And the pads are just basic autozone pads. When slowing pretty heavy from about 70 or 80 mph the brakes get super hot and dont work for anything and stink really bad. Any suggestions?

Have you checked fuel pressure when it is not starting. Ive had fuel pumps intermitently fail.

I was kind of trying to stay away from nos. What do you guys think my chances are against the 99?
