    Vortech V3 power?

I love the numbers posted here, but is anyone concerned with the heat from a non-intercooled system?

    Gear install in Houston

Fellas, I am really wanting to swap my 3.55's out for 4.10's, but I am concerned about gear whine, proper installation, expense, etc. I called Tommie Vaughn, which is a dealership here in Houston which specializes in performance parts. They quoted me EIGHT (8) hours for labor, at their shop...

    paint question....

If you want loud you might try SLP Loudmouths. Brenspeed has a video and they seem to put out some major sound.

ppl who got a brenspeed sct tuner w/ a intake come in

I ordered my Xcal 2 direct from Brenspeed w/ three custom tunes. I have never seen a "custom" option, it just scrolls through 89, 91 and 93 octane tunes. Am I using the canned tunes or Brenspeed's?

    SCT Xcal2 vs. Superchips Flashpaq

I don't know about their chips or flashers for Mustangs, but I bought one of their chips for a 94 chevy and it completely schizoed the computer. I would stay away from Superchips.

    DiabloSport Predator Tuner

I thought you could always run more octane than necessary, but not the other way around. I don't know about running a 93 tune on 91 gas.

My "NEW" Stang Complete! What do you think!?

Well, I agree to each his own. It's a free country (sometimes I wonder, though). I would assume the biggest opponents of clones are the actual GT500 owners themselves. In other words, many are buying these cars for their exclusivity, and if you can just mod a V6 to mirror at least the...

    My new wheels

StangGT2006 - Awesome car, really mean looking wheels. Are those 19's? I love those wheels but wanted 18's staggered and couldn't find any.

    Steering Shake

I just thought of a potential cause of this problem so I want to run it by everyone. Could the shimmy/tire & wheel imbalance be due to the banded air pressure sensors? For instance, if the sensors move around within the tire, wouldn't that throw off the balance? The tire/rim would only stay...

    Good Performance Shop in Houston???

Can anyone recommend a good performance shop in Houston? Someplace that is experienced with these S197's? P.S. - I have had bad experiences with Bumbera's.

    Steering Shake

I have an '07 GT with 400 miles on it and am experiencing the same problem. I have 18" rims w/ BFG KDW's but no other mods. I also notice the shimmy intermittently, mostly from 50-70 mph. It's funny, because the wheel moves but if I let go of it, the car drives straight and smooth, only the...

    off idle hesitation?

It's possible that Ford tuned the cars with throttle lag for warranty/financial purposes, but what about all the other performance car makers? I have never heard that Chevy tunes their Z06 Corvette for reduced throttle response. Does anyone know of any other sports car with this factory...

    Post Pics of Your Mustang

Yeah, I originally wanted the Race version with the step but I think the Street Cowl looks cleaner. Also, it's not so high that it hinders visibility. Very good fit and prep work from Steeda.

Visibility Issues with Quarter Window Scoops?

I have heard conjecture about the possibility of limited visibility in 05+ Mustangs fitted with quarter window scoops. Can anyone out there who's actually driven a Stang in this configuration tell me if visibility is really an issue? If so, how much of an issue?

Loss in hp / torque from mufflers?

I think there IS a slight loss of low end power in aftermarket exhausts (catback) if and only if the pipe diameter is increased from stock. All of my exhausts on every car I've ever had support this. If you stick with a system that keeps the stock pipe diameter, your powerband should remain...
