Post pics of how your foxbody currently sits

Ah, I see. I am kind of in the same boat, although going back to my house after dropping off the kids int he AM only adds about 5 minutes to my commute.

Post pics of how your foxbody currently sits

I don't know what your daily schedule looks like, but even in the dead heat of summer, my morning commute to work never gets hot enough that it's uncomfortable. Now, on the way home from work when it's 95 outside and the sun turns my T-Top car into a greenhouse, then it's just understood that...

Yea, those look great. I always thought those wheels look awesome when used with a low offset, but when they start to get into the high positive offset range, the spokes go convex and they look goofy.

Any more pics of the RPF1s? That's not a wheel you see on Foxes very often.

The Junk Pyle has moved forward, well sort of

This dude I used to run around with, who had 2 illegitimate children with different women, used to always tell me, "the thing about women with kids... You know they f****." Needless to say, that dude always brought the party. Good times.

Mustang 1987 T-TOP need name of the part or where to buy?

I guess it's not clear what the OP is asking about... If it's the hard trim piece, then yea, that's going to be tougher to get his hands on.

Mustang 1987 T-TOP need name of the part or where to buy?

^This^ Go to LMR.com and check out their t-top restoration parts. T-top assemblies and weatherstrip went through at least 3 design iterations, so you'll want to make sure you're getting parts for the right year.

95 GTS - Engine Bucking at low speeds

What RPMs is the bucking happening at? By "bucking" do you mean an idle/sputter problem, or do you mean it in the more conventional sense where you get the on-off-on-off drivetrain slap sensation? It's not uncommon for these cars to get the "drivetrain slap" bucking when trying to creep below...

    NikwoaC's "Commitment Issues" Engine Build

Thanks dudes, I am super happy with how it turned out. It's a good balance between OEM and "race car" look that I was going for. I still think I might repaint it in the future, but for now it's good and I think it's time to move on to the next project... Maybe the Recaros.

    NikwoaC's "Commitment Issues" Engine Build

It's done*! *Nothing I ever do is really "done", but it's on the car and drivable. I intend to do some somewhat-kinda-scientific testing to see how the airflow goes through this thing and what effect it has on underhood temps, but I will say that after my 30 minute commute this morning, the...

    Charcoal Cannister: Needed?

Useful thread, many thanks to those who dropped their knowledge. Does anybody know if Ford parts-binned the canister and purge valve, and used the same parts as the Mustang in other cars?

    351w or 460?

The car is rough, but that is absolutely a vehicle worth putting a little blood sweat and tears into. '82 GTs are few and far between these days, and IMO that styling is maybe the best of the 4-eyes.

    NikwoaC's "Commitment Issues" Engine Build

Ha, I'm just poking fun, I know you put a lot of thought into what you do, and it shows in your work. Going completely out on a limb and doing stuff that hasn't been done before just comes with its own set of speed bumps. I will say, there is sometimes an attitude of elitism with engineers...

All Makers and Fabricators Should Watch - 3dHubs

I will say this- most 3D printed plastic parts, even from high end machines, are frail and brittle compared to conventionally made plastic parts, like through injection molding or machining. There is still a lot of undue hype behind hobbyist 3D printing, IMHO. At the end of the day, most of...

    NikwoaC's "Commitment Issues" Engine Build

Haha yea, I am an engineer. I will say, it is a blessing and a curse. I rarely make mistakes the first time I try something, but it's only because I have obsessively planned, researched, and thought through it, sometimes for days. The next guy has tried, failed, retried, succeeded, and drank...
