i had the same exact problem on my 98gt a few months back. turned out the motor mounts were shot.

i suggest going to speedfreaks in tracy. they really know their stuff.

well your exactly right, you'd be making 330hp @6900rpm. your gonna have all of your power down low with a 5.4, thats the whole point.

the motor was built by MMR.

well, this is just a little teaser thread. im doing the 5.4 swap on R3DN3CK's car. hes got RR adapter plates and an aluminum intake. forged rotating assembly, ported PI heads, comp cams, and a bunch of other goodies. were taking his PI 4.6 and putting it in my car and were using my NPI 4.6...

so im starting the swap tomorrow, anyone got any helpful tips or advice.

iv got bullitt springs on mine and it lowere it 1", its just perfect

im looking at buying a 99 cobra. has 49K miles and theyre asking 13,900. seems like a good deal to me. its red with black interior. is there anything specific i should know about these cars befor buying it. i know about the recall for not having their advertised HP. anything other than that??

so my car is a 98 gt, 5 speed. lazer red w/ white stripes. has 109k miles. i would give the car an 8 out of 10. how much do you think i could get for it? oh, and when its sold im going down to the bay to buy a 99 cobra.:banana:

theres a black 98 saleen for sale in my town. its got 45,000 miles and they're asking 18,500. way to high in my opinion. its the supercharged edition and its a convertible. the supercharger is a vortech, is that stock from saleen? thanks
