    Sounds like you have the tps adjusted wrong. Take it off the tb and see if it lines up correctly to the throttle plate. The range sounds right it's just not in the right position. Set TPS at .95 and see how it is from there.

    Did you use a engine harness out of a 1990 car? They change wiring every 2 years on these cars and 1990 is the only harness that can be used in that car.

    Did you use the right bolts on the lifter dog bone hold down? If they are too long they will seize the cam up and bust the chain.

    Is the tach accurate? If not the ignition module on that motor will cause it to do symptoms like you describe.

    Did you replace the TFI module? They have been known to cause high rpm misfires before.

    plugs reading lean with 30 lb injectors? why?

    What year are the heads? If they are 1986 they have a different plug with more threads than the others and the plug won't be deep enough in the combustion chamber. That would make it appear that you are running very lean.

    A 306 is a 302 bored .030 over. A 331 is a 306 with stroker crank and rods.

    A Pro-M 75 Bullit mass air has a 6-pin connector on it like the SN-95 Mustangs . They should have given you adapter plug to make your stock 4-pin work. Get the adapter or grind the stock plug flat to fit in the MAF.

    The four banger ecu goes in the garbage, won't work at all with a 5.0. A9P or A9L is the computer you need for the car.

    If you bent a valve then you most likely damaged the valve seat. When you cut the valve seat, the valve will sit higher in the head thus causing your problem.
