    Need A Tuner In Delaware

Hey everybody! Been a while since I posted here. But now I have a new Mustang! Got an `03 Terminator! Really love the car and am looking for a good tuner in Delaware. Any ideas?

Would you rather have an 03/04 or an 00R?

I've driven both and while the 'R' has a tiny bit more power at some parts of the rev-range, it's a much less drive-able car than the Terminator. Plus, I like having a full interior, radio and A/C.

    Re: The infamous "clunk"

Anyone ever look at the slip yoke on the driveshaft? I've seen this kind of clunking noise caused by a binding slip yoke. I guess I really do need to get under this car and see what's up. Wouldn't be the first time I had to correct an issue that an OEM felt was "normal". Maybe I can figure...

    Re: The infamous "clunk"

I guess I need to get this car in the air and go over it myself. I know what gear and/or drivetrain lash feels and sounds like. My '03 GT had plenty of that. This is different. Really sounds more like something loose shifting around. I'll let you know what I find. Thanks for the input.

    Re: The infamous "clunk"

In an effort to try to verify that the sound I'm hearing is in fact, the infamous clunk everyone seems to talk about, I'd like to know if it occurs damn near every time you load or unload the drivetrain? Don't really notice it unless the top is up, even more so with the windows up too. So...

    Clicking/ticking noise when backing up?

My first thought is brakes but I figured I'd ask for input prior to pulling the wheels. Also, I've seen pictures of supposedly "factory" Cobras with "Brembo" calipers, yet everything I've read suggests that the cars did not come with Brembo calipers. What's up?

    Power Lumbar issue

Has anyone had a problem with their lumbar bladder? I haven't taken the seat apart yet but judging by the lumpy appearance of the back of the seat, I'd say something happened to the bladder. Obviously, it's holding air but the way you can see big-ass lumps on the back of the seat, I'm thinking...

    Finally took the plunge

Their Gen 1 kit required removal of the blower. The Gen 2 kit does not.

    Finally took the plunge

Still more research and I'm leaning toward the Even Flow Gen 2 kit. Don't have to remove the trans OR the blower, and it runs the coolant back to the radiator rather than trying to dump it into the stream exiting the right head. Makes better sense technically speaking I think. Any experience or...

    Finally took the plunge

Thanks a lot. Found this site that does a very nice comparison of the two kits you mentioned. Thought you might like to see it. Cooling mod kits, Apten vs LDC Chicago

    Finally took the plunge

Thanks for the reply. So what's the simplest mod for that issue that actually works? I saw the ad for the aftermarket hoses. Looks ok but not cheap for a short piece of stainless hose and a couple aluminum fittings. Ever heard of the mod the one guy mentioned to me? Sounded like it was a matter...

    Finally took the plunge

Traded my '03 Centennial Edition convertible for a '03 Cobra convertible. Car is a 1-owner, all original. VERY clean I must say. So, I've read over the FAQ's and have to ask other owners, other than performance mods, what should be on my short-list for mods? Are there any items that I should...

    New springs, WOW!!!

Only did the springs since the car only has 20K miles on it. No C/C plates needed. They got the alignment in just fine (another reason I'm wondering just how much it really dropped the car). Here's a picture of it I took today (pardon the dirt).

    New springs, WOW!!!

Now you see, YOU'RE car actually dropped while MINE didn't appear to, at least in the front. The car "looks" lower to me but when I took the tape measure to it, the rear is a half inch lower and the front is virtually unchanged. WTF????

    New springs, WOW!!!

I'm VERY pleased with the outcome. The car "feels" much more solid, and tied-down. Even notice there's virtually no porpoising during shifting. She just feels better.

    New springs, WOW!!!

I've been going back and forth for some time now about what springs to use on my car and finally decided on the Ford Racing "B" springs. All I can say is WOW! I'm very happy with the outcome. Not only does it sit a little lower but, the ride is actually BETTER IMO. Very surprising. It feels much...

    New exhaust!!!!

By "off-road" I assume you mean one without converters. Not going to happen. I have better things to do than swapping exhaust parts every year for inspection. I might investigate high-flow cats though. Not sure whether they're worth any significant benefit or not though. Anyone have an opinion...

    New exhaust!!!!

Almost a year ago, I had Magnaflows put on and I liked it alright but I always thought it was a little too quiet. Well, I took care of that yesterday. Exhausts on performance cars are tricky. Anyone who's done or had one done knows it can be a crap-shoot at best when deciding what components to...

    Why does everybody do this???

The reason is real simple. They don't want you to accidentally cause an electrical short while doing whatever it is you're doing. Not sure about Mustangs but all the GM cars I've done re-flashes on DO NOT require the battery to be disconnected at any point.

    Official Tremec 3650 Issues Thread

CRAP!!!! You're right. How the hell did I get 3.4?! Damn, now I have to pull some fluid out. Maybe that's why it's better but still not perfect. I'll get back to you on it as soon as I correct the fluid level.
