    So, by those calculations, a 1" Cobra master would net me a 15.2:1 ratio braking. Center line of the 13-17 desired ratio.

    Now it has the Teves ABS circa 1980 something. Its gone out. Parts are made of unobtainium and the system, quite frankly, sucks. From a little research I have done, the '93 Cobra R came with Mark VII rear brakes and an earlier version of the twin piston calipers, all with a 1" master.

    Sheared Distributor Gear

    Definitely check alignment on the gear, how long did it take to shear? If the pump is fine, it maybe a faulty gear, I have never heard of breaking in a distributor gear, I know you're supposed to put some lube on the gear before stabbing the distributor. The cam/distributor could have walked.

    I had the same problem with my Lincoln, there's a wire you must hook up, if yours has it, its the amp turn on wire. If you don't wire it in, you'll have NO sound from the speakers.

    Ford Brand Rear end gear question

    I have a set of 3.55 Ford take outs from an '07 Mustang that I put in my Lincoln...they set up perfectly and all...the Motorsport gears are the same as Ford gears...but anyway...the Ford gears have identical part numbers as the Motorsport gears...just so you know...:nice:
