Does anyone have cragar 500 Series Eliminator wheels stuffed under their car?

I had ordered the black wheels. I called two other places and got the same answer, that they were back-ordered and didn't have an eta on a shipment. I ended up with the MB Old Schools off Discount Tire Direct. I was going to get my tires from them anyways, and I like the wheel just as much.

Does anyone have cragar 500 Series Eliminator wheels stuffed under their car?

I just got the call from Jegs, that these wheels aren't only back-ordered now, they're discontinued. Jegs still has the 15x8, but I'm set on 15x7. I'm bummed, these would have been sweet on my 67.

shelby style hood for regular front end

Stangaholics is reputed to have the some of the highest quality fiberglass hoods and parts for classic mustangs. Their website is a good place to start, and has a nice run down of the process that they use. The metal backed hoods have a reputation for hair-line cracks. This seems to happen...

    Disc Brake Swap recommendations

^^That's interesting, I'd never heard that before and I'll keep it in mind. I did the Disc Brake Swap Granada job on my 67 and have never hesitated to recomend it because I am happy with the results and the value. But, I'll add this piece of info.

For anyone thinking about buying Patriot heads....

The fact that the OP from the other forum needed more than 3 pictures to tell the story of some seriously poor manufacturing is stunning. It seems like such a waste of time and resources to even produce heads, or anything, that poorly. You get what you pay for.

PLS Recommend AOD Tranny for 67

For great AOD info check out network54.com and clickclickracing.com. Along with Broaderperformance.com, you're going to find all the info you'd ever need on the AOD and all its cousins. These sites have been blowing my mind lately with all the AOD info I've been absorbing.

    Need Sacramento tranny shop.

True. The engine will be upgraded in the future, but will probably never have more that 400hp. I want the trany to be a one time thing. When I say mild, it's in the 300hp range at the flywheel right now, dynoed at 265 at the rear wheels with the C4. Just hoping that somebody has had a positive...

    Need Sacramento tranny shop.

I'm looking for a shop that can rebuild my AOD out of a 91 LX 5.0. The trany will be going into my 67 coupe when completed. Hoping that somebody has had a positive experience in the Sacramento area with one of our local shops and can recommend them. I'm looking for a performance rebuild that...

Kids enjoying the car experience seating

I did a similiar thing with the backing plates. But I used a high grade u bolt and related hardware to create my own "latch" system. I measured the specs from my new Mazda6 and basically transplanted them to the 67. That combined with the stock seatbelt has that car seat in the tight.

    Randalls

I just bought a r+p from him last month. He was very helpful and easy to deal with. He was also very busy on the phone when I called him, but was always quick to answer my e-mails. I hope that he gets back to you because the unit is very nice and complete. I don't have any tips for getting ahold...

Sick Stewart-Warner '68 cluster for the blue fastback

Geez, it's bad enough that everytime I look around your website it guilt trips me into doing projects on my 67 to perfection and gives me ideas that I cant afford right now. Then you go and drop that artwork on us. Looks fantastic!

    My 289 recipe thoughts!

I have the Comp 268 on my 289 with heavily ported stock heads. It runs pretty hard and is very livable around town. That being said, I bet that the 274 would really bring the power with some aftermarket heads. Judging by Vinyl66 getting into the 11s, sounds like a very nice combo.

    Choosing a new manifold

I totally agree guys. I wouldn't be keeping my 67 on the road if I thought that new cars were fun or interesting. I just think that intake manifold tech has come a long way in the last few years and that the twisted carb Torkers are a bit out of date. If you were going to go through the trouble...
