I really don't know about the timing because I havent had it checked. I'm guessin it's still at 10*. I'm going to do a tune up on the car, cap/rotor, new plugs, maybe get a cai, and get some dr's. I really want to get a better rad. and an e-fan too....but I don't really have the money now...
Well I got to go back to the track since I fixed a few thinges on my near stock notch. Last time out I was running the times in my sig and was running just as hard as tonight. Except before the air was much cooler than tonight and the car pretty much was untouced then. I'm pretty happy with what...
I forgot to mention I have a good deal comming from ebay on a 70mm throttle body and a larger mass air. Now before I get flammed that due to the stock upper/lower and the stock heads that it's not worth it...I want to see the difference myself..
The stock mass air is tiny and can only be...
Ok well I have my car almost ready to go back to the track and the first time I went with this car I was extremely dissapointed with my times. My best run was in the sig and that was pretty much stock. The car has a fiberglass hood and 3:73's. I think that the gears were only hurting me because...
Damn seems to scoot...get it tuned, fix the 3rd gear, and put some slicks on it....Then your going to have to worry about ripping off the rear bumper..the exhaust will be the last thing on your mind...
I would say gt-40 heads, new upper and lower, a larger tb, larger mass metter, get rid of the smog/ac, put some shorties, an o/r h-pipe, and maybe a kit....
You will be close, spray a small saft shot, and you will be there....
Can you take the dog bone off the diff. without anything bad happing....How the heck would it stop the car from shaking? It's just connected to the diff housing, it's not like it connects to the body or anything....
Have a shop make up a system with 4 mufflers....put electric cutouts on it....when you need to open it up flip the switch and it will sound like a monster with no back pressure.....
The vibrating you are feeling is clutch chatter. I just installed a king cobra clutch and on cold start up it chaters like crazy in 1st and reverse. All I do is slip it a tiny more and it stops it..As far as I know this chatter is fairly normal on new clutches.
I have about 50 miles on my new...

I know I'm not crazy and trust me I always know which hole is right....:D
I had the car started just to make sure and put my hand behind the head.....I could feel the exhaust pouring out, then had my gf kill the car. Then I tried to put the bolt in.....no go. The only thing that I can think of...
I went out and bought 2 5/8-11 1" bolts and they werent even close. They were way too big. I could barly fit the tip of my pinky in the hole and the bolts were too big.
The car sound really bad and the exhaust pours out the back of the heads...what size is needed to plug it up?
Yes sir I did not paint the car.....after college the car is getting a full make over..motor, complete body repair, prob a viper spec tranny, ect....everything, it will be my present to myself when I get my new job....
But on another note the car is pretty much done, just need to put in the...
I would polish more than half the tips, lol. I can see that on the pass. side that you only went like 4" in on the tips....clean ALL that shiny stuff and polish it up real good.
Car looks sick though, maybe add some turbos??
Ok my friend has a 96 GT and we tried to get this speed cal. in one time before and failed. It came with some not so great instructions but we found better ones online with pictures...the weird part was we still got stuck....
