    my 97 cobra did that once and it turned out to be a switch in the trunk by the driver side tailight it is a red button try resetting it

    that happened to me once and it was the fuel cut off safety switch in the trunk sux that you are gonna have to pay firestone to tell you that you need a new fuel pump when you dont
