I keep blowing alternators and I'm trying to figure out what the hell is going on. Does anyone have the troubleshooting directions for the alternator circuit? I'm using a 3g alternator on a 351w in a 91 fox. Thanks

you cant trust that stock gauge aside from it being cold, warmed up, and overheating....everything else in between is a guessing game

just use the t like an extension also where one sender will be on the very end of the assymbly otherwise you'll have a hard time clearing the block....you'll see what I mean

Yes any efi engine can be converted to carb. Besides what you mention you would also need either a carb fuel pump and different lines or a bypass regulator to work with the efi pump. Carbs run at about 6psi.
