Well, I found out that both axles are bent and I did some damage to the differential so will be getting replacements and a diff. rebuild. I'm still more than happy with the outcome since no one was hurt or injured.

OK, so I checked out the axle tube (both sides) with a straight edge and everything looks straight. I'm just hoping I didn't do any damage to the gears. Thanks

Yeah, I was actually going into a turn but wasn't accelerating all that hard. I'm thinking about just getting a new axle or axles and if I don't use one I'll just sell it. I also updated my pic post so I think you guys should be able to see the damage. lang, good point about the straight edge...

Almost forgot to ask another question. Do you think I did any damage to the gears/carrier assembly????? 302GTS, with your axle being completely broken off, did you have gear damage??? Thanks

Yeah, I think the previous owner had some steeda stuff on the car (ie springs, camber plates, ball joints). The bolts are spinning freely but I can't back them out so I think I have nuts holding them behind the cowl. Now how do I pull the cowl without breaking it into pieces? Thanks!

OK newbie question here. I've got a 1998 Cobra and I want to change out the plugs and wires but ran into a slight problem. I can't get enough clearance to pull some of the spark plug wires because the factory strut tower brace is in the way. I got all the bolts off on both ends of the struts...

Agreed, just from driving that car I know it's lightyears ahead in terms of performance. The car looks great and the C5 ZO6's are still awesome. I would actually consider getting one if I had the extra cash. I like my cars pretty much stock and a stock C5 ZO6 will more than put a nice grin on...
