Post pics of how your foxbody currently sits

Ha...Thanks! Oddly enough, I feel the same about yours. Admittedly, I may be slightly biased as my first car was a red 89 coupe. I was debating the SC wheels and now that you've gotten the pony's I'm torn...

Same difference...not looking for an argument.

89 Coupe Lower From One Side

Rear lower pigtails should face rearward. Everything was torqued with suspension loaded. Agreed on front suspension. It is on the list as everything minus springs and struts is original.

89 Coupe Lower From One Side

Yes. Mine sits about 3/8 of an inch lower on driver side. Have replaced springs. Isolators, LCA's for unrelated reasons. Was sitting full inch lower on rear driver side before replacing the above. Haven't dug into it yet.

Post pics of how your foxbody currently sits

Hey Fred, it's been awhile! To answer your question yes. It wasn't a planned purchase as I tried hard to talk him into keeping it so he wouldn't have the same regret I did after selling the coupe. Plus admittedly, I do have some emotional attachment as I first spotted the car (on Curtis) then...

Corey, right? I remember you regardless of whether or not I got the name correct. It's been a long time man. I used to be 1Bad89Coupe on here which I recogize several others that have chimed in. Glad to hear you still have the ol' fox body. Congrats on the twins and welcome back!

Corrosion. Keep it or sell it?

These cars are notorious for corrosion issues. I live in floirda and it happened to the hood of my 07 amungst other friends s197's. Like they said, there's no guarantee it wont' come back or happen again if repaired or replaced. Sucks.

    Race Star and Drag Slicks

I currently have the racestar 15x10 with 7.5" backspacing except i'm running a 275-50-15 with LOTS of room to spare...however, many guys are running 28' tires on these cars and no issue on a 10" rim with correct backspacing. As mentioned I had to relocate the sway bar.

    MPG ?

I've gotten 29.5 mpg with the heavy 20's in my sig and 31.0 with stock 18" bullitts before. Something doesn't sound right.

please post pics of 20" wheels!!

How much will 20's slow me down?

Not a great comparison but maybe give you an idea. With 20's and street tires my car went 13.3@105 last SUMMER (FLORIDA) in march this year with 17's up front and 17's outback on dr's it went 12.70@107 in cool weather. IMO that's not much of a loss. I'd probably trap about that on 17" wheels...

    03-04 gt 3650's question

I just finished swapping in a '04 3650 into my 96 and didn't notice much difference if any on the 4 to 5 shift. Now if I can just finish with the speedometer crap. Overall I like it more, but i'm used to tremecs in general so I guess I just feel more comfortable with it over the "smoother" t45.
