I dont think the hood shock kits will help... there are some nice hood pins out there, Shelbys are very nice, but around 100.00 bucks...

clean your connections even if they look clean...it is a bad connection on the battery.

common problem! get some hood pins if it bothers you too much... the hood is aluminum is why it sounds different. it is worse with a fiberglass one.
