Check K.A.R Auto Group. They sell those, and have an online catalog where you can find what you're looking for. Eric

    Overheating issues

Thats a good idea. Could have a 3/4 shroud, or could try and make some bends to go partially around them. I'll let you know what happens.:nice: Eric

    Overheating issues

I pulled the carb, and spacer was up-side-down, so I fixed that, and put new gaskets between intake & spacer, and spacer and carb. It got rid of the hissing sound, but I need to adjust the idle mixture because it is idling too low, and wants to stall when in gear. As for the overheating, I...

    Overheating issues

Yes, I put the stat in with the spring towards manifold. I came out thismorning, and radiator took about another 1/2 gallon of coolant. I'm hoping it was air in the system, but I haven't had a chance to run it and see. KAR mustang told me about the 160 degree thermostat to keep it running cool...

Got the car back from the paint shop

I like the car! I posted on another thread that I have a 66 coupe that is getting ready to go to paint. I was planning on keeping the original sauterne gold color, but add either satin black or ghost shelby stripes. I also like the gt rear valance, since I plan on getting duals. The mineral...

    Mustang Newbie w/ Story

Sounds like you lucked out with the roadside assistance! I'll bet that was a nice garage to poke around in! I had a 66 coupe 6 cyl that I bought back in 2000. I was finally going to get around to restoring it in '07, but it was rusted much worse than I had originally thought. The end of May, I...
