I just changed my engine coolant temp sensor and thermostat and I picked up 4mpg avg. I did have a code fault for engine coolant temp sensor. I was going to start this exact same thread the day you posted yours. I wasn't down to 18, but I was at 21 combined when I was used to 25 combined.

Well it turned out the brake light switch was shorting the system. I've changed a couple of these over the years (never in a mustang though) and I've never had one completely short my lights out. Maybe its a ford thing, dunno. I've always just had the lights stop working, not blow fuses...

I cant even get to the lock. Its the actual inside the door lock thats jammed. The extrior key lock moves just fine. I cant get to the door panel edges to pop the plastic tabs. Sure I can just pull it but I'll rip all the plastic tabs out of the door panel, hence ruining it.
