Any one know about water/methane injection

I use Water/Meth injection on my supercharged Miata and the results are excellent. I am able to run high boost on stock timing without any detonation on 91 octane. Without the Water/Meth injection I was not able to run the car at the same boost/timing settings. Unfortunately, I don't have any...

    Sub Frame Connector

I use the Global West subframes on my '86. They were relatively cheap to buy and stiffened the car up significantly. Mike

Stock lower intake manifold: Any way to improve?

I've read that the stock lower intake manifold is the bottle-neck of the intake for the 5.0. What makes it so bad with regards for performance? Can any improvements be made to the factory manifold (porting, extrude honning, ect.)? Mike

    Aluminum driveshaft

NikwoaC, I did not notice any performance gains after swaping for the aluminim shaft, but I have not been to the track since the swap. I am selling the above shaft, which is a virtually new Ford Racing aluminum shaft and has been only used for a short time. If you are interested shoot...

Holy $#*@ - The ricer boys pay $1200 just for a steering wheel!!!

I had Bride Zetta III's in my '05 STi and paid around $900 for each seat. The Bride's are the best racing seat on the market today and I have considered using them in my Mustang. If it works, and works great, why not use it? And that Mugen crap is expensive and not worth the money IMO when...

    Stay 4 lug??

^^^^^ True, the aftermarket solutions are expensive for the 4-lug. But hell, I'm used to spending $4-5K to upgrade brakes on my cars and I plan on doing the same for the Mustang. Mike

    Stay 4 lug??

In my opinion, silver, but I have never been a very big fan of chrome. :D Mike

    Stay 4 lug??

LOL! There are brake upgrades available that can improve the braking on 4-lug Mustangs, Baer's 4-lug kits would be one example. I would agree that the braking of any 4-lug Mustang is terrible from the factory. My '86 Mustang is one of the worst braking cars I have driven or owned and the...

    Stay 4 lug??

I'm staying 4-lug. I don't see the need for the 5-lug swap with the aftermarket options available for both wheel and brake upgrades. In addition, you have to be producing some serious horsepower/torque numbers before there will be problems with a 4-lug setup. Which wheels are you planning...

    Too lean? Too rich

You could always remove the spark plugs and check the color. If they have a powdery white color then the car is lean, a good lean (if they are white and blistered then the car is dangerously lean), if the plugs are black, the engine is rich. You can also remove the O2 sensors and check the...
